(Above photo: Eme, Myself, and Not-So-Good toasting to a good time!)A little Corned Beef and Cabbage, a couple of beers to wash it down, and then part take of cake with green frosting(no wonder my teeth turned green.)

It's all in good fun each year at St. Joe's Catholic church. First there was a Mass to honor St. Patrick, and NO, I didn't wear my hat during the Mass! Then we go over to the Sr. Fabian Hall for the tasty Corned Beef and Cabbage. Though, I will admit that I skip the cabbage. It just doesn't agree with me. Tony, the cook, has his special recipe to cook the corned beef--- and simmering all day long. It's a good time and most of the "Widow's" were in attendance for it. (If you would like to learn more about us "Widow's" and our social events check out my Feb.18th entry on this blog.)
(Photo at right: Me with green teeth thanks to the green frosting on the cake. What a combo; Guiness beer and cake! NOT!)(Photo below: Giselle and myself looking goofy in our hats, but having fun!)
(Photo below: Mona and Jean being a "little" more subdue in their green.)(Photo at right: Laura and myself in our matching shirts! Thanks Mom! We almost look like twins. But I'm not sure about this matchy-matchy stuff.)
