The Utah Arts Festival and Double Rainbows...

(Above Photo: Laura , Em, and Not-So-Good)
Four friends having fun on a Friday afternoon. Almost brought memories of my FAC(Friday Afternoon Club) days in college. We all met downtown Salt Lake City to enjoy the latest annual of the Utah Arts Festival. Friends, food, art, art demonstrations, music, dance, and etc.... What better way to spend a Friday afternoon!?!
We wondered around enjoying each others company, and took in all of the Festival had to offer. We manage to catch some dancing on stage while we enjoyed various dinner entrees.
Then we caught a print making demonstration. I wanted to be the steam roller driver, while Not-So-Good would've like to meet the current driver. Well darn it! Some fantasies just are never realized. We both were SOL.
Em managed to get a little shopping in for a future wedding, while we both enjoyed a frozen cheesecake on a stick drizzled with chocolate. Oh my! Not-So-Good was a little better and had frozen strawberries/bananas drizzled in chocolate (both white & milk). Laura gave a little money to a solid gold street performer.
But as the evening rolled on these threatening clouds were rolling in, and it was as though day was turning into night. It got black as night and then the rain just cut lose with the wind. We all dashed for cover then got out the umbrellas and headed to our cars. I was SO wet when I got back to my car. About 1/2 hour later Laura called on her way home and told me to look out my window. A double rainbow! Amazing!
